Picture this: you’re Namaste-ing your way to bliss on a Tuesday morning when you get a ping that you’ve been invited to a last-minute Zoom meeting—in 10 minutes.

You run out of your gym (AKA living room) and into the bathroom, where you are faced with an albeit head-turning task: transform your strands from sweaty to work-ready in a mere matter of minutes.

Fortunately, a solution is in sight thanks to a series of brand-new hair innovations, the Pantene Waterless Collection, designed specifically with these on-the-go days in mind. Washing your hair every day is officially overrated—according to, of course, this dry shampoo loving beauty expert who only likes to wash 1-2 times a week. How do I do it? You’re about to find out. Here, three easy ways to refresh your hair after a workout, so you can take a few extra well-deserved minutes of Shavasana.

Grab Your Dry Shampoo

Perhaps the fastest way to instantly transform your strands is with a dash of Dry Shampoo. Enter Pantene’s latest, Never Tell Dry Shampoo Spray that uses sulfate-free, waterless technology to absorb dirt and oil, leaving fresh roots in its wake. Formulated with wild mint and tapioca from Cassava root, the pro-vitamin B5 spray is safe for all hair types (especially those with fine hair).

To use, shake the can well and spritz onto roots. If your strands are a little damp, I recommend drying quickly with cold air from a blow dryer. Once applied thoroughly, massage the dry shampoo in with your fingertips and brush out—this step removes excess product leaving clean looking (and smelling!) hair behind. I can personally tell you that the product not only makes my hair look freshly washed, it also gives it a boost of volume! Plus no white residue is left behind.)

Try a Dry Conditioner Mist

Should your hair need a little extra something on those non-wash days, consider adding a dry conditioner mist into your routine. Pantene’s latest is a nourishing frizz-reducer that immediately gives strands a silky smooth look and feel. Equal parts leave-in conditioner and styling spray, the Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist works by coating the hair with a series of paraben-free lipids to penetrate and hydrate strands.

While the mist is great for all hair types, my crazy long waves and I absolutely love that it helps remove tangles & tames frizz and flyaways for up to 24 hours. I love using this mist as a second step on the days when I am using my dry shampoo spray and spritz from the middle to the ends of my hair for an instant refresh.

Style With Hot Tools

For a quick but effective hair overhaul, grab your hot tools—but don’t forget to protect your strands from the heat! Before curling or straightening, remember to apply a heat-resistant spray, like Pantene’s new Hot Mama Heat Activated Hair (Re)Freshing Spray, formulated with jasmine and pro-vitamin B5. The multitasking conditioning + heat-protectant spray acts as a nourishing layer in between your tools and protects strands in between washes.

To use, shake the can and spray evenly throughout hair from 6-8inches away. And you’re ready for your day and whatever it brings in no time.
